September 14, 2020, GIS International Forum (English) of the 2020 GIS Software Technology Conference ("GTC 2020) was successfully held online to countries and regions around the world, sharing the latest progress of GIS technology and the applications and prospects of SuperMap GIS technology and products in smart cities, education, transportation, natural resources, utilities and others.
At 15:00, Beijing time, the International Forum (English) went live and was hosted by Liao Xiaohan, Deputy Director General of Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Ms. Du Qing'e, Chief Growth Officer of SuperMap, delivered an opening speech. She stated that SuperMap, as one of the organizers of the GIS Software Technology Conference, has always adhered to "Innovate IT Value with Geo-intelligence" and is committed to showing passions in sharing innovation and development of the geographic information industry. For report session, Dr. Song Guanfu, CEO of SuperMap, made an English report on "Exploration of Distributed GIS and Geo-Blockchain Technologies", introducing SuperMap's distributed GIS technology system and the latest exploration of SuperMap in the Geo-blockchain. Then, Mr. Li Meng, Product Director of 3D R&D Center, SuperMap Research Institute, made an English report on "New Features and Enhancements in SuperMap GIS 10i(2020)", introducing SuperMap GIS 10i (2020) six features, like Geo-blockchain technology and AR GIS based on video spatial applications. In addition to the above technical reports, SuperMap International's partners in South Korea, Cyprus, Thailand, Serbia, Indonesia have made reports respectively on AI, Big Data, smart cities, utilities and other related applications based on SuperMap GIS technology and products.
