Mr. Kham Ouane BOUPHA, Minister to Prime Minister’s Office, Head of National Land Management Authority (NLMA) along with the delegation from Lao LDR. visited SuperMap Software Co., Ltd. on October 21st, and accompanied by Mr. Fie Yue, the program officer of the Dept. of International Cooperation, Science and Technology, Ministry of Land and Resources, PRC. Visiting SuperMap was one of the official activities in the China’s visiting of the NLMA delegation from Lao LDR.
Dr. Zhong ErShun, the chairman of board of SuperMap Software Co., Ltd and the team welcomed and met the delegation at their head office in Beijing. As the major GIS Software supplier for the NLMA and other government department of Lao LDR., Dr. Zhong presented the latest company information and status of using SuperMap GIS in the Spatial Data Infrastructure project in NLMA.
Mr. Kham Ouane BOUPHA expressed his thank for the hosting and continues support by SuperMap’s team. Minister also expressed his expectation on their staging computerization inside NLMA before 2020, and specifically request for continues supporting from SuperMap. Mr. B. J. Mak, the Managing Director of SuperMap International Limited, thanked the supporting and using of SuperMap GIS in NLMA and informed that his next visiting to LNMA would be scheduled on the week after the delegation back to Vientiane. The teams were exchanged their opinions and ideas during the meeting and hosting lunch.
The delegation flied to Hang Zhou and continues for their second stop in China after the hosting lunch and a short tour in National Stadium.
