On June 27, BMW Online Mapping System (OMS) developed by SuperMap goes live. BMW holds a releasing ceremony at headquarter, Beijing. A chief engineer of SuperMap gives a detailed introduction about OMS in the ceremony for the BMW leaders and staff who are from Department of Dealer Development.
BMW OMS supports dealers checking the BMW/MINI & competitors’ dealer network status, updating dealer profiles, and manage dealer information on the map. BMW staff is allowed to draw or modify the dealer sales territories on the system.
BMW OMS adopts SuperMap iServer 7C and SuperMap iDesktop 7C. The system provides both English and Chinese versions. The dealer data in this system can be updated in real time.
The successful go-live of BMW OMS will bring more favorable conditions for SuperMap to carry out more in-depth cooperation with multinational corporations.
