On June 16, Li Jiahong, chief engineer of National Remote Sensing Center of Ministry of Science and Technology, together with other 5 delegates visited SuperMap Software Co., Ltd. Song Guanfu, president of SuperMap, warmly welcomed Li’s visit.
Song gave a brief report on the meeting. He outlined the current status of SuperMap and the next planning step. He also illustrated the investment on scientific and technological innovation, advanced software development management, services from software-oriented to cloud-oriented, as well as international marketing development.
Li expressed his appreciation on what achievements that SuperMap has done. Both sides had a lively discussion on topics like GIS trend, indoor navigation, Live GIS & video RS satellite, GIS & RS integration.
Zhang Songmei, director of National Remote Sensing, said that SuperMap should take full advantage of the GEO platform to gain more influence in the international market.
