In order to promote self-innovation of geographic information technology and sustainable development of GIS industry, SuperMap GIS Conference 2011 (SGC 2011) will be held at Beijing from September 15th to 17th, 2011. During the conference, SuperMap will show the world's latest GIS technology, industry-leading GIS platform products, abundant mature industry solutions and application cases.
September 15th is the "GIS Festival" of the domestic GIS industry. Holding a GIS Conference during the "GIS Festival" aims at not only constructing a platform where the colleagues within the industry could have a good communication and information exchange, but also offering a window, through which, the China GIS software technology as well as the fruits of self- innovation can be displayed. By gathering the power of GISers, SGC 2011 will promote the development of GIS technology and industry, in order to increase the social awareness towards the value of geographic information.
The theme of this year's conference is "Focus on the Latest Technologies and Applications of GIS". Around 4,000 participants will be expected at SGC 2011.
