On April 27, Navi-Kazakhstan, the only government authorized navigation company in Kazakhstan signed an agreement with SuperMap to use SuperMap GIS platforms to develop its first navigation and transportation monitoring system.
The mission of Navi-Kazakhstan is providing customers with high-tech navigation equipment for cars and high quality software and maps. Navi-Kazakhstan is the first and the only company who brings new technologies related to car navigation to Kazakhstan and neighboring states.
After a long investigation and comparison on many GIS platforms, the company at last chose SuperMap GIS software to develop the system. “We choose SuperMap GIS not only because it has very wonderful technologies, but also because the SuperMap company is a very strong company. We believe that through cooperating with SuperMap, we could be more successful!” the general manager of Navi-Kazakhstan, Mr. Anoshkin said after signing the agreement. Mr. Kanghong Wang, the vice president of SuperMap also pays high attention to the cooperation of the two parties and takes a very positive expectation to it.
After signing the agreement, the two companies will cooperate closely in developing the navigation system. The whole system is expected to finish within half a year.
