SuperMap Participated in the 26th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing

From November 7th to 11th, the 26th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS2005) was held in the Melia Hotel in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. There are approximate 600 participants from most of the Asian countries and regions including Vietnam, China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, India, Malaysia, etc. participated in this conference. As the only exhibitor from China, SuperMap participated in the conference, too.

There are approximate 30 exhibitors dedicated to the spatial information services from all over the world participated in this conference. SuperMap was the only one from China. On the first day of the conference, Dr. Zhong Ershun, president of SuperMap gave a wonderful presentation on SuperMap GIS technologies, products and applications. During the 5 days’ exhibition, SuperMap also demonstrated its English version of SuperMap GIS 5.0 products and some of its successful applications. The wonderful presentation and demonstration, new technology structure, comprehensive solutions, rapidly display speed, wide range of applications and open cooperation strategy aroused the great interests of the participants and they paid high attention to SuperMap.


The Asian Conference on Remote Sensing is one of the most important annual events in remote sensing and GIS, and has played an active role in Asia. By attending such a great event, SuperMap has made a lot of new friends and will continually put it’s international market strategy into realization, just as its slogan said: “SuperMap GIS --- provide professional tools for managing our world better”.
