SuperMap Showcases Diverse Solutions at FIG Working Week 2025

From April 6–10, the FIG Working Week 2025 took place in Brisbane, Australia. The event was attended by FIG President Diane Dumashie, Queensland's Minister for Environment and Tourism and Minister for Science and Innovation Andrew Powell, among others, who delivered opening remarks. As a Silver Sponsor, SuperMap presented its latest innovations in land management, disaster prevention and mitigation, energy, and smart city development.

At its exhibition booth, SuperMap highlighted comprehensive solutions for four major industries:

  • Land and Resource Management: SuperMap provides efficient spatial planning and dynamic monitoring solutions to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Energy Sector: With advanced GIS technologies, SuperMap enables smarter resource exploration, pipeline management, and intelligent dispatching.

  • Disaster Prevention and Mitigation: SuperMap showcased an integrated“sky-ground”emergency monitoring and early warning system, significantly improving disaster risk assessment and emergency response. These solutions drew considerable interest from attendees and sparked in-depth discussions.

Strengthening International Cooperation and Exchange

During the conference, SuperMap's booth was visited by Diane Dumashie, FIG Vice President Winnie Shiu, Yan Qin, and Rudolf Staiger, President of the German Association of Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management. Diane acknowledged SuperMap's achievements and ongoing collaboration with FIG and extended a special invitation for SuperMap to participate in next year's FIG Working Week in Africa.

About FIG Working Week 2025

Co-hosted by the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) and the Geospatial Council of Australia, FIG Working Week 2025 was themed “Collaboration, Innovation, and Resilience: Championing a Digital Generation.” The event also featured the 48th FIG General Assembly and Locate25, Australia’s national geospatial conference. It attracted approximately 1,500 professionals from over 80 countries, with around 50 organizations exhibiting.


At the conference, FIG showcased Diane at the 2024 Geospatial Intelligence Software Technology Conference in Beijing last year in the Annual Review Brochure, acknowledging that the conference built a bridge for industry practioners to communicate and exchange.
