On September 26, INTERGEO 2024, the world's leading geospatial event, concluded successfully, attracting more than 500 companies and institutions and over 17,000 attendees from across the globe. SuperMap highlighted its latest technological innovations, application achievements, and digital transformation solutions across various industries including smart city, land and resources, water conservancy and meteorology, and energy.
SuperMap’s showcase attracted visitors from over 30 countries, including Germany, Italy, Kenya, South Korea, Bulgaria, and Romania. Among them was Edouard FONH-GBEI, CEO and Secretary General of the National Committee for Remote Sensing and Geographical Information (CNTIG) of Côte d'Ivoire, who made a special visit. Edouard met with Wang Haitao, Vice President of SuperMap and President of SuperMap International. Having reviewed the past collaborations, Edouard extended an invitation to SuperMap for the upcoming CNTIG Users Conference and AARSE (African Association of Remote Sensing of the Environment) in November.
SuperMap has also had exchange visits from Middle East companies like Orbits, a leading engineering firm in the region and international brands including Pix4D, a global leader in data production.
AI and remote sensing technologies were hot topics at the event, with many visitors showing keen interest in the application scenarios and capabilities of SuperMap's geospatial AI technology foundation. SuperMap upgraded its technology systems this year from five to six—Big Data GIS, Remote Sensing and GIS, 3D GIS, Geospatial AI, Distributed GIS, and Cross-Platform GIS, with Geospatial AI newly added. These technologies are poised to support the digital transformation and intelligent development across industries.
INTERGEO has been held for over 20 years, and SuperMap's presence has grown steadily at the event, drawing increasing attention from industry professionals worldwide. Moving forward, SuperMap will continue to foster global collaboration and innovation, leveraging technological advancements to provide spatial intelligence to more regions and industries.
See you next year in Frankfurt!
