On July 13, senior executives of SuperMap Software Group and Dassault Systèmes held talks in Chengdu to discuss further strategic cooperation between the two parties. Bai Yangjian, Vice President of SuperMap Software Group and President of SuperMap China Region, Wang Haitao, Vice President of SuperMap Software Group and President of SuperMap International, Florence VERZELEN, Executive Vice President, Industry Field Marketing & Sustainability of Dassault Systèmes, Jacques BELTRAN, Dassault Systèmes Vice President, Cities and Public Services and Zhang Ying, Managing Director of Dassault Systèmes Greater China, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Yu Zongwen, Channel Manager of the Europe-Africa Channel Center of SuperMap International, made a report in French, and put forward suggestions for deepening strategic cooperation between the two parties. SuperMap hoped to combine Dassault’s simulation and digital twin technology with SuperMap GIS products to explore joint solutions, accelerate the implementation of projects in multiple fields in multiple countries and regions around the world, and promote mutual benefit and win-win results.

Florence and Zhang Ying said that the two parties have a solid foundation and huge space for cooperation. They will give priority to the Chinese market, implement benchmark projects in China and then integrate the global marketing resources of both parties to promote cooperation in the international market.

The two parties agreed that they should further mine their respective product and technical resource advantages, further explore the integration of the two parties' products, and bring more high-quality products and services to the market.

In April this year during the BIM WORLD held in Paris, Florence and Wang Haitao agreed to meet again in July. The meeting coincided with the Dassault Systèmes Greater China Infrastructure Industry Summit being held in Chengdu. The two sides reached a number of consensuses, laying the foundation for further cooperation in the future.
