On 18th, May, 2007, SuperMap International Limited (SMIL) signed an agreement with Rego Research AB, appointed the company as the Master Distributor for SuperMap GIS software in Nordic Europe, including Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
Rego Research AB was originally founded by many GIS elites in Nordic this year. From the right beginning, the company decided to dedicate itself to SuperMap GIS sales, marketing, consulting and developing. From now on, prospective clients from these four countries can therefore email to nordic@intl.supermap.com for consulting and purchasing SuperMap GIS Products. The Swedish website http://www.supermap.se will be available soon.
These appointed four Nordic countries are among the most developed countries in the world. The GDP per capita of these countries are all within the world’s top 10, thus the governments, public and enterprises have a huge demand on GIS. The signing of this agreement indicates that after making a great success in Japan, SuperMap starts to serve the western developed countries through cooperating with local professional GIS service provider. This will bring the local customers with better and more convenient, more localized services of SuperMap GIS products.
