Strategic Agreement Between Guangxi Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation and SuperMap Group

On 21st, June, Guangxi Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation and SuperMap Group signed strategic agreement, discussing the cooperation plan.

Director Yang, Deputy Director Li, General Engineer Zhou of Guangxi Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation along with the President Song, General Engineer Liang participated in the signing ceremony.

 

Guangxi Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation highly values the strategic agreement signing. During the meeting, Director of the bureau gave an important address, in where he analyzed the GIS situation, hi-tech technology, industrial applications, and he highly appraised the informatization construction in Guangxi made by SuperMap, providing expectations on the GIS industry. Director also indicated that Guangxi Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation focus on the cooperation among research institutions, enterprises, hoping to have closer cooperation between SuperMap, together to advance the GIS industry in Guangxi, providing more energy to the development of Guangxi GIS industry. 


President of SuperMap Song recalled the history between SuperMap and Guangxi. Dr. Song stated that Guangxi has always been one of important strategic areas for SuperMap. Dr. Song also introduced the development of 20 years of SuperMap and core technologies of SuperMap GIS.


On the same day, ‘7th Mapping New Technology Seminar/ SuperMap GIS Innovation Seminar’ hosted by Guangxi Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation , organized by SuperMap Group was also held. Leaders from both Guangxi Bureau of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation and SuperMap Group participated in the seminar.


The reports on ‘GIS in new basic mapping’, ‘Updates on SuperMap 3D GIS platform ’, ‘SuperMap cloud and big data technology’ have been made. Over 200 experts participated in the seminar.
