SuperMap Attended CASP (Core Agriculture Support Program) Meeting

On May 29, SuperMap has been honorably invited to attend the GMS (Greater Mekong Subregion) CASP (Core Agriculture Support Program) Meeting held in Beijing, China recently and the GMS work group invited SuperMap to give a speech on the experience of using GIS mobile technology in agricultural information dissemination. The inception meeting and workshop is organized by the working group on agriculture secretariat under Asian Development Bank.

SuperMap is the leading GIS platform and solution provider in China and Asia. Recently, SuperMap won an international project of 'Application of Mobile Internet Technology for Agricultural Information Dissemination in Cambodia'. This project is funded by UK government and SuperMap associates with the project partners, FECC MOA China, Business School of University of Bedfordshire, UK, and Cambodian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI).


 
Facilitated Knowledge Dissemination is a key topic of international organizations


The ADB agricultural officials are very interested in promoting this project pattern in other Asian countries and Mr. Ni Li, GM of international business unit gave an impressive presentation about this project to the ADB guests and Chinese agricultural experts from Yunnan and Guangxi.
