SuperMap international channel manager Robert Wei and technical support engineer Patrick Zheng conducted a fruitful business trip to Turkey in Nov. 2013.
GIS Exhibition
The Turkish national GIS exhibition was held in the capital Ankara from Nov. 11 to 13 2013, which had more than 30 exhibitors including ESRI, Intergraph, Bentley, etc. SuperMap Turkish distributor the company of Noda attended the exhibition to show SuperMap products and solutions. Robert and Patrick participated in the whole exhibition.
In the exhibition, both new and old customers had in-depth communication with SuperMap. Especially, the GIS department of the Turkish government expressed a strong interest in SuperMap products and invited Noda to introduce SuperMap technologies in detail after the exhibition. There will be 3-5 new opportunities of GIS projects in the next year from the opinion of Noda CEO Mr Mehmet ERDO?DU.
During the exhibition, Noda got an opportunity to introduce SuperMap products and solutions for the guests in a workshop, receiving a warm response.
Noda attached great importance to this exhibition, and prepared excellent marketing materials for the local customers.

New opportunities for cooperation
After the exhibition, Patrick and Robert went to Istanbul to visit a company which focuses on GIS solutions in education marketing and water conservancy industry. This company believes that there is great market potential for SuperMap by its strong GIS technology. In the near future, the new cooperation relation will be built.
Vision
Turkey is very similar with China in the national condition, and the Turkish people can quickly accept Chinese products. SuperMap prepares to carry out a series of programs in Turkey to promote cooperation with local distributors and accelerate the pace of internationalization.
