Yueyang government started a grid social management service system comprising of public service system construction, social grid management, community self-governance. Yueyang government realized public service convenience, detailed grid management, self-governance based on SuperMap platform software and grid social management.
Currently, there are 155 public social services, and the platform has processed 63,802 pieces of social service at the first quarter in 2017, collected information on 309,836 houses, 685,120 in population and 24,079 organizations.
Small Grid Makes Big Harmony
Grid social management platform makes 99 communities into 652 grids with 300-500 residents in each grid, making grid connected with police, birth control, city management, etc. The platform set up comprehensive database with basis on population and housing, realizing acquisition on people, place, object, business, organization, etc. Grid staff has GIS embedded cellphones, which allows processing and report grid event immediately.
Hunan provincial government advancing ‘zero distance’ public service, ‘grid’ community management and community governance has drew attention and welcome from the public. Since 2017, Yueyang government has welcomed over 20 groups to visit and communicate, the delegations showed high appraisal on the platform.
