In the recent years, railway department advances using technology to create a better trip environment. In order to help railway clients find the service facilities in station, China Railway Network Software Company hosted the construction of intelligent navigation system. The system was built by SuperMap Group.
The system relies on indoor positioning technology, cellphone locating equipment have been deployed in the whole area of railway station and provides locating services through APP and navigational machine. Also, the complete railway station indoor map has been set in the system, the indoor map and service information have been constructed through GIS software.

12306 APP provides services with core of facility finding, precise locating and navigation service, it also provides services like ticket querying, train time querying, lost & found, weather forecast, etc. In addition, APP also provides intelligent organizing and information on passenger boarding, picking up, transferring, etc.

User can query the train time table and cafeteria information, etc.
The station also brings navigation machine for users. Navigation machines are deployed at the main entrance at the station, the information is the same as APP. Navigation machine provides audio querying. Passengers can query the facility location through audio and find the route between 2 points. Navigation machine can send navigation information to cellphone. With these equipment, passengers can easily find their way and have an easier and intelligent trip.
