bool(false) When you use SuperMap iServer to publish a file workspace that containing oracle (no 10.1 version) datasource in Linux, why are the services empty? - FAQ - SuperMap

Q: When you use SuperMap iServer to publish a file workspace that containing oracle (no 10.1 version) datasource in Linux, why are the services empty?

A: Because in the Linux platform, when you use Oracle Client to connect Oracle Server to open the database, UGO lacks the dependency file libclntsh. So.10.1. The specific solution is as follows:

(1) Build soft connection. Enter the %ORCL_HOME%/lib directory, and establish the file libclntsh.so.[version number] to a soft connection named libclntsh.so.10.1, that is, run the command In –s libclntsh.so.[version] libclntsh.so.10.1.

(2) Verify whether the UGO dependencies are correct. Execute the ldd –d libSuEngineOracle.so in the UGO directory. Then you can view the output information, if there is no "not found", it means the UGO dependencies are correct. After restart SuperMap iServer services, the workspace services containing Oracle datasource can be accessed normally.
