Q: Why does this error occur when iServer service starts on Linux: "Unable to set localhost. This prevents creation of a GUID"?

A: Please configure the IP address corresponding to host name in /etc/hosts file. If you add the last row, it means to map linux to 192.168.1.101.

# Syntax:  

# IP-Address    Full-Qualified-Hostname  Short-Hostname

127.0.0.1         localhost

192.168.1.101  linux
