Q: How to enlarge the scope of a map?
A: Firstly, use desktop tool to create a new surface dataset. Then draw a rectangle slightly larger than the map, and set the rectangle frame background transparent and the edge invisible. At last, add the map to the rectangular box, and reset the map center, so that the scope of the map expands.
