What's SuperMap Desktop .NET 6R(2012)?
SuperMap Desktop .NET 6R(2012) has three levels: SuperMap Viewer .NET 6R(2012), SuperMap Express .NET 6R(2012), and SuperMap Deskpro .NET 6R(2012). They are plugin GIS applications constructed based on SuperMap Objects .NET 6R(2012), desktop core library and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
SuperMap Viewer .NET 6R(2012) supports data loading and browsing, mapping, layouting, map printing, etc. SuperMap Express .NET 6R(2012) supports data editing and processing as well as all functions provided by SuperMap Viewer .NET 6R(2012). SuperMap Deskpro .NET 6R(2012) is the ultimate version of SuperMap Desktop .NET 6R(2012). Not only does it include all functions provided by SuperMap Express .NET 6R(2012), but it also supports extension development, saving you time when you don’t need to develop applications from scratch. As a programmable, extensible and customizable desktop GIS product that supports the integration of 2D and 3D, SuperMap Deskpro .NET 6R(2012) can satisfy your diverse needs.
New features for Version 6.1.0 Compared to Version 6.0.0
SuperMap Desktop .NET 6R(2012) (V6.1.0) retains the advantages of SuperMap Desktop .NET 6R (V6.0.0) and adds functions such as object editing, data registration, spatial query, spatial analysis, and a large number of 3D functions, making the GIS functions more complete and the integration of 2D and 3D more fantastic. Below is some of the new features of SuperMap Desktop .NET 6R(2012) (V6.1.0)compared to the previous version SuperMap Desktop .NET 6R (V6.0.0).
Data Processing
● Data registration for a single or a batch of datasets at the same time.
● Data editing: including trim, extend, break, precise break, split, offset, union, intersect, XOR, group, ungroup, rotate, style painter, and attribute painter.
● Map clip: draw shapes to clip a map and save the result as a new dataset.
● Data conversion: including conversion among point, line, and region data, 2D and 3D data, CAD and simple data, text data and fields, and conversion from network nodes to point, line data, text to point data, tabular to point data, etc.
Spatial Query
● 8 spatial query operators are supported and the query result can be added to maps or scenes for linkage browsing.
Spatial Analysis
● Buffer analysis, overlay analysis, grid interpolation, isoline extraction, isoregion extraction, visibility analysis and viewshed analysis.
Map
● Functions like partly refresh for the map, layer control, and thematic map editing, etc. are provided for your convenience.
Layout
● Functions like partly refresh for the layout, output map in the layout as picture, page output, etc are provided for your convenience.
Realspace
● 3D spatial analysis: including buffer analysis overlay analysis, interpolation, visibility analysis, etc. Stereoscopic display: provides 3D effects with the help of devices.
● iServer services: supports for opening scene services, 3D layer services, and terrain layer services published by iServer Java.
● Added functions for creating label maps for CAD model datasets, switching between the flat and global scene modes, filtering for display, texture filling for unique values and ranges map items, and 3D sun effects.
Nautical Chart
● IHO S-57 nautical chart display and conversion.
● IHO S-52 nautical chart display.
● Integrated display of multiple nautical charts (with land data) and caching for publishing.
License Management
● Added control to the trial license. If you are using the trial license, "SuperMap Unregistered" will display on the top left corner of the application program.
Others
● Scheme Manager for color scheme customization and management.
● Symbol Manager for marker, line, and fill symbol library management and symbol creationand editing.
● Extended window mode for displaying and operating child windows independent of the main application or on other monitors.
