Beijing, PRC – 19th January 2007 - SuperMap GIS 5 (V5.2.1) International English is officially released.

SuperMap GIS 5 (V 5.2.1) series is the succeeding series of SuperMap GIS 5 (V5.2.0), which published on May 2006. Remarkable improvement in Map Rendering, Overlay analysis, Bus-routes analysis, Spatial Query, and etc are built in this version. Release Candidate version of this series had been tested by the users in Japan, Hong Kong, China and the Southeast Asia extensively before officially releasing. High availability and stability are guaranteed in operation with massive data from multiple and variant data sources.

Major updates of SuperMap GIS 5 (V5.2.1) and SuperMap series products are as follows :

- Improving the support of ORACLE, SQLServer (SQLPlus Engine) and SDB Engine;
