Q: It fails when use SuperMap iDesktop 8C to connect KingBase database. But the enterprise manager tool that comes with KingBase database can connect normally. What's the matter?

A: First, make sure the desktop and KingBase database number are consistent (32 bit or 64 bit). Then create KingBaseES 7 ODBC Driver datasource in Control Panel-Administrative Tools-Datasource (ODBC)-System DSN. The KingBase database can be created on the desktop only if the test connection is successful. The enterprise manager tool is the JDBC connection, which is different with the desktop connection.
