The world becomes increasingly interconnected and data-driven, geospatial technologies are playing a vital role in addressing global challenges—from sustainable urban development and climate resilience to land administration and digital transformation. Against this backdrop, GISTC International 2026 provides an international forum for exchanging knowledge, showcasing innovation, and strengthening collaboration across the global geospatial community.
The conference will take place from 19 to 21 October 2026 at Hilton Haikou, Haikou, China, under the theme "Geospatial Intelligence, Synergy of Digitalization and AI." It is organized by the United Nations Global Geospatial Knowledge and Innovation Centre (UN-GGKIC), co-organized by the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), hosted by the Geographic Information System Technology Innovation Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources of China, and sponsored by SuperMap.
Developed from the international forum of the Geospatial Intelligence Software Technology Conference (GISTC) in Beijing, GISTC International has evolved into a dedicated event designed specifically for the global geospatial community. Featuring a fully English programme, globally relevant topics, and enhanced networking opportunities, it provides an open platform for deeper technical exchange, practical knowledge sharing, and international collaboration.
