SuperMap has launched the GIS platform software - SuperMap GIS 9D at GIS Software Technology Conference 2017 to meet the demand for big data era. Our team will post a series of articles about SuperMap GIS 9D to help you get a whole picture about its capabilities and achievements in aspects of technology, products, data and application. So, lets’s get started!

SuperMap iClient 9D on the basis of modern Web technology stack, is the integrated JS client-side of SuperMap Cloud and GIS Online. Integrating open source gallery with visualisation library, the software are entirely open sourced with Apache2 protocols as core codes and making linkage between SuperMap and open source community.

1. Distributed Spatial Analysis and Visualisation

With ProcessingService API of SuperMap iClient 9D, you are able to initiate distributed spatial analysis assignment to SuperMap iServer 9D. For example, density analysis, overlay analysis and aggregation analysis etc. The analytic results will be visualised and presented to you when the assignment is finished.

2. Real-time Streaming Data Visualisation

Users can perform collecting, storing and analysing on the real-time streaming data from Internet and logistics networks by using real-time data service of SuperMap iServer 9D. And the real-time data service can be subscribed with DataFlowLayer of SuperMap iClient 9D, what’s more, SuperMap iServer will push the collected data to the subscribed SuperMap iClient client-side in real time via WebSocket protocols.

3. High-efficiency Layer

SuperMap iClient 9D newly added high-efficiency GraphicLayer and HeatLay, that supports more than 100,000 point feature drafting speedy on the client-side, as well as the click events.
