SuperMap iServer Java 6R(2012) SP1 Released

The English version of SuperMap iServer Java 6R(2012) SP1(V6.1.1) is available now.

Based on JavaEE and SuperMap Objects Java 6R, SuperMap iServer Java 6R is an enterprise GIS server and service GIS development platform. As a part of SuperMap Universal series, SuperMap iServer Java 6R provides GIS capabilities in the form of services to meet various demands from both of governments and companies, and the web GIS application. The types of services include REST, and OGC (e.g. WMS, WFS, WMTS).

+ WMTS services support for KVP encoding and configuring customized scales and the corresponding DPIs
+ Improved usability of Web Manager
+ After reconnecting to Oracle workspace, the server does not need to be restarted to access the services
+ Dynamically monitor the changes of Oracle and SQL Server workspaces (datasources, maps, layers), and update the related services
+ Optimize the startup and cluster performance
+ Refine the logs to make the information clearer
+ The tempLayers resources support to send request on demand.
+ The threads between service interfaces, components and providers are independent, and the request response of one server instance will not affect each other.
+ Improvements on the performance of the map output for the REST service.
+ Added support for segmentation processing of the REST request in the cluster module. If the REST request has an overlong parameter, the parameter can be passed segmentally, and combined again on the server side.

Updates for SuperMap iServer Java 6R(2012) SP1

+ After the program is started, UGO (located in the directory of %SuperMap iServer Java_HOME%/support) included with SuperMap iServer will be used by default.
+ In the configuration of aggregation map service provider, the order of map service providers is consistent with the order of layer overlay.
