On Oct.30 of 2002, The Second Group Member Conference of China Geographic Information System Association i.e. Mainland & Taiwan Geographic Information System Development Seminar was held in Xiamen, China grandly. This conference was organized by China Geographic Information System Association and Xiamen Science & Technology Bureau together. A lot of experts from both mainland and Taiwan attended this seminar. This seminar promoted not only the communication between mainland and Taiwan in GIS field actively, but also the industrialization process.
SuperMap GIS Technologies, Inc. as a member of GIS association was invited to attend this seminar. President Zhong Ershun of SuperMap made a marvelous report "Geographic Information Technology Development Trend and Research Practice". He analyzed the new generation geographic information technology`s development, and introduced the large scale geographic information system fundamental software platform SuperMap series.
Attendees expressed greatly interested in SuperMap software and its advanced cooperative ideas. Attendees consulted SuperMap and discussed with the engineers about SuperMap in detail.
