On January 7, Mr. Sihai, Assistant to the Mayor of Johannesburg, South Africa, visited SuperMap Software's Beijing headquarters and held discussions with Mr. Song Guanfu, Chairman of SuperMap Software, and Mr. Wang Haitao, Vice President of SuperMap Software and President of SuperMap International. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics including innovation in geospatial information technology and smart city development.
During the meeting, Mr. Wang Haitao introduced SuperMap's global market strategy, breakthroughs in core GIS platform technologies, and application practices in fields such as smart cities. Mr. Sihai spoke highly of SuperMap’s independent R&D capabilities and its solutions and practical experience in empowering digital and intelligent transformation across multiple sectors.
He noted that South Africa is actively advancing urban digitalization, and that Johannesburg requires geospatial intelligence software technologies to support the upgrading of urban governance. He expressed hope to introduce SuperMap's technologies and solutions into South Africa to enhance local urban governance and public service capabilities.

Mr. Wang Haitao stated that Johannesburg is an important economic and innovation hub in Africa. SuperMap has long been committed to innovation and application in GIS technologies and has established a cooperative network in dozens of countries and regions worldwide.
Looking ahead, SuperMap is willing to work closely with Johannesburg to explore cooperation in areas such as smart city development, urban spatial planning, and emergency management, supporting Johannesburg in achieving more efficient and sustainable urban development.
