SuperMap Hosts Delegation from Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana

On October 25th, Dr. Samuel Larbi Darko, President of the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LiSAG), along with Surv. Stephen Djaba, Vice President of LiSAG and Honorary Member of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), visited the headquarters of SuperMap. The two parties held in-depth discussions on GIS technological innovation, industry application practices, and the promotion of international cooperation.

During the visit, Cidy Chen, a Solutions Engineer from SuperMap's International, presented the delegation with SuperMap's latest innovations and solutions in geospatial intelligent software technology. She elaborated on SuperMap GIS's technological breakthroughs in cross-platform, 3D, and big data capabilities, showcasing practical application cases in areas like smart city development and cadastral management.

President Samuel Larbi Darko highlighted the crucial role GIS technology plays in infrastructure development and sustainable growth across Africa. He conveyed his expectation to collaborate with SuperMap in exploring effective pathways for technology implementation, aiming to drive the digital transformation and upgrading of the surveying, mapping, and geoinformation industry in Ghana and the wider African region.

Vice President Stephen Djaba shared insights into the latest trends within the global surveying and mapping sector, as observed by FIG. He emphasized the significant importance of strengthening international technical exchanges and cooperation for promoting the interoperability of geoinformation standards and facilitating the sharing of technical resources.
