SuperMap Unveils Next-Gen GIS & AI Innovations at INTERGEO 2025

11 Oct,2025

The curtain has just fallen on INTERGEO 2025, the world's premier exhibition and conference on geodesy, geoinformation, and land management — and SuperMap made waves with its showcase of 3D, AI-empowered geospatial technologies.

Over the three-day event (October 7–9) held at Messe Frankfurt, INTERGEO 2025 drew more than 18,500 visitors from 119 countries, featured 530 exhibitors, and hosted over 1,200 conference participants from 52 nations.

The annual gathering continues to serve as a strategic platform for innovation, networking, and the forging of geospatial partnerships.

A Bold Presence: Booth, Theme & Highlights

SuperMap's exhibit centered around its theme "AI Insight, 3D Empowerment", spotlighting how it is integrating artificial intelligence into spatial workflows.

Among its major demonstrations and technology pillars were:

  • Unified 2D/3D GIS Integration — bridging traditional 2D GIS with photorealistic 3D modeling for richer spatial context and analysis.

  • AI-Generated 3D Models & Digital Twins — showing automated generation of high-fidelity city models and building interiors to accelerate urban planning, emergency response, and facility management.

  • AI-Powered Remote Sensing & Imagery Analysis — applying AI to satellite / aerial data for feature extraction, terrain classification, and change detection.

  • Cross-Platform GIS & Cloud-Native Services — showcasing how the SuperMap GIS architecture supports multiple operating systems and microservices deployment.

  • Big Data GIS & Real-Time Visualization — enabling rapid processing and real-time display of sensor, traffic, and environmental data for situational awareness.

These showings were paired with application case studies in smart cities, public safety, natural resource management, map production & publishing, and more.

Engagement, Reactions & Reach

Throughout the three-day event, the SuperMap booth was a hub of activity. International visitors, partners, and geospatial professionals gathered to explore live demonstrations and discuss application cases with SuperMap experts. Many attendees said that "the AI-driven spatial solutions are impressive and forward-looking," noting how effectively SuperMap integrates advanced technology with real-world needs.

SuperMap's technical team also held multiple interactive sessions, showcasing how its solutions accelerate digital twin construction, enhance decision-making processes, and enable intelligent spatial data management.

Among them, the 3D smart cadastre solution has become a focus of attention for many government management departments and professionals.

This solution achieves precise 3D modeling and integrated management of real estate units such as land, buildings, and underground spaces. It not only makes complex property relations clearly presented in 3D space but also supports 3D property rights registration and visual queries for internal building floors, units, and even underground parking spaces. This effectively helps prevent property disputes while enhancing the transparency and efficiency of registration.

Driving Global Geospatial Collaboration

During the exhibition, Wang Haitao, Vice President of SuperMap and President of  SuperMap International, and Salim Al Kaabi, Chairman of Jeel Engineering Consultancy LLC, the Omani surveying and mapping enterprise officially signed a partnership agreement.

According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly promote GIS software products and solutions in Oman and surrounding regions, deepen technological applications, and contribute to the development of the local geographic information industry.

Salim Al Kaabi expressed recognition for SuperMap's technological leadership and product reliability in the GIS field. He said: "This collaboration marks an important step in the digital transformation of the engineering and GIS sectors. By integrating Jeel Engineering's surveying and mapping expertise with the SuperMap GIS platform, the partners will provide data-driven innovative solutions for various industries."

INTERGEO 2025 emphasized trends such as GeoAI, reality capture, and data sovereignty — all of which align closely with SuperMap's development direction. By combining innovation with international cooperation, SuperMap continues to strengthen its global presence and contribute to building a more intelligent and sustainable future through geospatial technology.

Thanks for visiting us at the Booth. See you next year in Munich!
