SuperMap held over 10 workshops in universities and institutes in Kazakhstan from 19th April to 6th May. Aiming to bring SuperMap GIS technologies and products into Kazakhstan and to forge further cooperation and innovation with local organizations.
SuperMap introduced the latest GIS technologies and applications of 2D&3D integration, big data, AI and 3D GIS in Nazarbayev University, Kazakh-British Technical University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, KAZGASA(Kazakhstan Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering) and Karaganda State Technical University. Also, SuperMap conducted the training of iDesktop for the universities to bring practical experience for potential users and to develop closer relationship between SuperMap and universities.
In addition, SuperMap presented itself in Institute of Geography of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan GIS Center, Institute of Hydrogeology and Geoecology to make overall introductions and to strengthen the connection with institutes. Based on GIS technological worskshops, SuperMap believes the understandings and cooperation can be enhanced between SuperMap and related institutes.
As one of the important countries alongside the “one belt and one road”, Kazakhstan has good traditions with Chinese Governments and companies in business. The workshops has historically been events where SuperMap starts in Kazakhstan. SuperMap will continue to develop the relationships with related authorities and organizations by providing the cutting-edge GIS technologies and solutions.
