On 29th, September, Eurasian System Science Research Association Conference was held in Beijing. The new president and council members have been elected during the conference. Eurasian System Science Research Association embarked a journey since then.
Over 80 members participated in the conference, the conference was hosted by Liu Yongsheng, vice president of the council and Jiang Zhenghua, president of council made the presentation on behalf of the second council.
The presentation made the overview on the implementation and efforts in the past 4 years. The association advances the scientific innovation and high-level database construction.
The council have elected 29 council members during the conference. Dr. Zhong Ershun, chair of the board of SuperMap Group has been elected as the president of council.
Dr. Zhong Ershun, the newly elected president of council addressed the speech, Dr. Zhong emphasized that new council members will insist on innovating and high-level database construction and explore new opportunities in accordance with the council regulation.
Ms. Du Qing’e, 3rd council member and the executive vice president of SuperMap Group made the presentation themed as ‘Self Innovation and Industrialization’, with focus on economic hot issues, which drew attention from the participants.
During conference, council members of visited SuperMap exhibition and SuperMap institute. The exhibition area displays the development of SuperMap GIS, new 3D GIS demonstration, spatial big data GIS demonstration. SuperMap research institute, belonging to SuperMap Group, is the largest GIS basic software research & development center in the world. The research institute has made the major breakthroughs in cross-platform, 2D & 3D integration, cloud & terminal integration, big data support. SuperMap obtained major technological patents, participating multiple specifications.
