The 8th International Workshop on GIS Technology and Application will be held from June 26 to June 27, 2025 in Beijing, China. It is co-sponsored by Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography (CSGPC) and International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), and organized by SuperMap Software Co., Ltd.
You are cordially invited to join this workshop to practice GIS software and discuss the trends in GIS technology and application together with other participants from across the globe.
The International Workshop on GIS Technology and Application was initiated by SuperMap in 2018 with the goal of expanding international cooperation among the geospatial community and enhancing the capabilities on geographic information applications and management for talents from GIS and related fields. Looking back, the workshop has welcomed close to 1,000 participants from Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America. The lecturers are from enterprises and universities who excel in GIS software and have rich experiences in GIS-related projects.
As new technologies emerge and evolve, it is necessary to keep up with the trends for innovative development of geospatial industry. This year, with well-planned programme focused on the integration of GIS and other technologies like AI and the applications, we aim to provide you systemic introduction to improve your GIS technology knowledge and management capabilities.
