From 5 to 7 October, SuperMap attended INTERGEO 2010 in Cologne, Germany, which is one of the world's largest event and communication platform for geodesy, geoinformation and land management. Over 500 exhibitors from 32 nations related to the GIS, surveying and mapping industry attended this exhibition, and thousands of visitors including traders, experts and governmental officials visited to find business opportunities, solutions, partners, as well as to get access to latest technologies exhibited by vendors.
During INTERGEO 2010, SuperMap showcased the latest version of SuperMap GIS 6R products and demonstrated some new applications and solutions powered by SuperMap GIS. SuperMap also demonstrated how ease of use, complete, open and cross platform with high performance the SuperMap GIS software is, as well as the upcoming new products - SuperMap iClient and Desktop .NET. The distributors in Europe of SuperMap, GeoInt from Sweden, and GISoftware from the Netherlands, also attended the fair and received potential clients from all over the world together.
On 6th, Oct, Dr. Zhong Ershun, Board Chairman of SuperMap delivered a keynote speech on "Development of GIS in China and Introduction to SuperMap" during the activity "DAY OF CHINA" hosted by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping of China.
