The ASIA GIS 2008 International Conference has been successfully held at the Haeundae Grand Hotel, Busan, Korea, on 26-27 September 2008.  Asia GIS is a biannual programme organised by Asia Geographic Information System Association(AGISA) for GIS academics and professionals in the ASIA GIS was first held in Hong Kong(1994) and subsequently in Bangkok(1996), Taipei(1998), Tokyo(2000), Wuhan(2003), and Johor, Malaysia(2006).
